Kettle and Cup

So…Monday. Monday.

Have I mentioned that the most stressful day of the week for me is monday?

Can I say that today is beyond stressful?

Good. Cause I did.

I don’t do computer on Sundays, personal convictions and all…and, being rather a work-a-holic- I have to force myself to take  a break. SO there is always blog back up on Monday! This weekend the Daring Bakers Reveal happened on Sunday so there was a HUGE blogbackup.

ANd..MAtt is leaving for Fort Hood with a group from our church to do ministry there. Part of the team is doing marriage enrichment seminars (65% divorce rate in the military) and the other part, Matt’s part, will be doing kids ministry to give the kids a great week. He is excited but this summer has been crazy..He has working in 2 other camps so far and has ANOTHER camp in Oklahoma next week..This 16 year old can’t seem to get enough ministry time.  Now my 14 year old is trying to make the money to goo on a missions trip to Mexico in August… and there is another church sponsored youth trip the  first part of August for my 12, 14, and 16 year olds.  See..BUSY.

Got home from church last night to find out that the dog had been bitten in the mouth by a copperhead while we were at church. Marc had taken him out to go potty (Marc was working and had just gotten home before us) and the dog sniffed under a log. So, a trip (100.00+) to the vet that we could not afford at 1 a.m. The dog is doing fine but we have to watch him for the next few days.

And I am taking Marc to the VA this afternoon AND tomorrow afternoon.

See? BUSY! I do have something to tell y’all..but it will have to wait for later!

I am t hinking a huge cup of tension tamer tea might be the thing to drink right now!
