Love Coffee Pods? Make Your Own!
It seems that everyone is into coffee pods now. They are a simple way to get your caffeine fix quick. Just put the pod into the Senseo or whatever you have, press a button, and in seconds you have a cup of coffee.
But the pods get pretty expensive and you can’t always get exactly the coffee you want. What if you want a Yrigacheffe or your favorite custom blend?
Well, the Perfect Pod Maker allows you to use your very favorite coffee or tea and make your own pods. Considering the price of pods the Pod Maker is pretty reasonable at under $50.00.
They work in : Mr. Coffee, Senseo, Bunn Home Cafe, Hamilton Beach,Melitta One:One, and Black & Decker Home Cafe single serve coffee machines as well as many others.
If this is how you get your coffee you might want to check it out. :) Does anyone have one? What do you think?
As for my house..uh …a single serving of coffee is…well…a snack. :p

I told my husband not to buy me a machine that uses pods. The coffee for them is much more expensive and I felt the same way as you do about the selection.

Cathy- The problem I see with it is that it makes so LITTLE coffee. I mean, we mainline the stuff around here so we just really need tubing to hook from the pot to our arteries.
Karen- this thing would make the coffee more affordable and you could make what ever you want..but I agree that I would rather just brew it. By the gallon.

I’ve never used a pod either. I use a Gold filter, but if I were going to buy paper filters, they’d have to be unbleached/recycled. I can’t stand the white ones.

Me either Peggy. But I use the gold filter as well.
