Golden Moon Tea Announces New Blends

Golden Moon has to be one of the best teas on the market, in my opinion. The have come out with some new blends and premium taste sampler and wow, does it look like an awesome collection.

I love Irish Breakfast tea and they have come out with a Special Reserve Irish Breakfast that is described as:The robust flavour is equally elegant and complex. Rich and malty character, with subtle notes of ripe cherries, dark prunes, and hints of hazelnuts and honey. I can all ready taste this with a fresh cheese danish, warm from the oven.

Their English Breakfast is lighter, as all English Breakfast teas tend to be. Lose the danish from above and serve this one with a croissant and orange marmalade. They describe it as: Coppery liquor awakens the palate with a brisk and complex flavor. Toasty, with subtle floral undertones. I may be a tea and coffee snob but I will admit that I have no clue what a coppery flavor is. I drink tea and coffee in the morning to LOSE the weird taste in my mouth..But the toasty, floral part I get.
I love chai on cold mornings, rainy afternoons, chilly evenings. I like it to be really on the spicy side paired with a bittersweet chocolate truffle. Golden Moon PU-ERH CHAI totally got my mouth watering as I read the description: An exotic blend of rich, earthy notes enlivened by aromatic cinnamon bark and elegant green cardamom pods, highlighted with a smooth citrus bouquet.

The last new one sounds like something that you would sip while laying in a bath of LUSH enhanced bath water. Read it slowly and with careful attention to detail..Sugar Caramel Oolong. Ah. Yum. See? This is described as: Premium quality green oolong leaves, tightly rolled and carefully hand-crafted, infused with sweet essences of rich caramel and burnt sugar. Crystal clear, jade liquor. Mellow and aromatic, yet slightly free spirited. Complex balance of subtle, lingering floral notes and a deep sweetness. Poet’s cup. Maybe a couple of pieces of buttered challah toast with that one. Wow.

Anyway, if you are in the mood for some really awesome tea, check out the Golden Moon Tea website ..They won an award for their coconut pouchong and if you ever taste it you will understand why.
