As much as I think it is a terrible thing to actually ingest soy products, I think that soy candles are the absolute coolest. Seriously.
First of all, they don’t contain the toxins that conventional candles do, so if you find that the scented candles give you a nasty chemical headache, give soy a try. Normally […]

I was doing some research for a freelance gig that I was working on and I came across something I had to write about here. Check out these laser cut cupcake liners from Paper Orchid.
Are those teapots and cups not the most adorable things that you have ever seen? Or at least in the top […]

First of all, I know how way cool everyone who reads Kettle & Cup is. You guys have prayed for me, encouraged me and made me laugh when I was really not feeling very ready to laugh.
I was visiting Jan, at Jan and Tom’s today. She has such a heart for everyone and is always […]

I love teapots. And really, you can’t have too many.
Seriously. Could you serve tea in a rooster teapot at a Valentines Day tea? See what I mean? It is important to be prepared for any tea party requirement.

The timing for this is amazing because it is my spiritual mom’s birthday tea this evening and I spent several hours up at the church decorating last night. Only, I forgot my camera […]

Many years ago, as a harried homeschooling mom and perfect wife…and before I became an exhausted cookbook author and blogger person….I felt that I needed a break.

Having owned a tea room this is a question that I think about often. I do think we went to great lengths to be over the top. The food was amazing, made with organics, flour that was freshly ground daily, real butter…
There were over 50 teas to choose from, and 25 coffees plus lattes and […]
