Hospitalitea Blogathon:Teapot, Just for Fun

Tea pots are a lot of fun.  They just are.  This one was given to me by my kids for Christmas.
I love snowmen, and I have quite a collection.  So much so that I have stopped collecting them.  LOL!
This particular one is a fun tea pot.  I especially like it in the wintertime. Something about […]

Keep Your Caffeine Out of My Candy

First of all, I don’t often eat chocolate that is not Fair Trade. It is personal but I also think that the organic tastes much better…usually. Second, I really hate big corporate business. I would rather pay double to a small, family owned company. Unfortunately I can’t always afford to do that, but […]

Red Espresso? A Great Drink or a Stephen King Novel?

Hmmm….
South Africa has created a new product that is it terming red espresso.  Apparently it is pretty good because it won the title of Best New Product in the Coffee Association of America’s Specialty Beverages category this month. Red Espresso has only been on the American market for eight months.

Hospital-i-tea Blogathon:Tea Pots Shawnee Embossed Rose

More for the Gracious Hospital-i-tea Blogathon this week!
This is the Shawnee Pottery Embossed Rose Design, manufactured sometime in the 1940s I believe.  As far as I know my mother never drank tea from this teapot. She always heated up water, poured it in a mug and added a bag.
She said that she and my aunts […]

Three Doors Down, Mad Cropper

Take Christine one of these, I think she would approve.
I asked Christine what her favorites were and she answered:
1. Coffee
2. Flat white or White chocolate latte please!
3. Double chocolate biscuits or brownie slice
Yeah! I can now show her the secret handshake, right?
Her blog, the Mad Cropper is

Hospital-i-tea Blogathon:Tea Pots

A New Feature Here at Kettle and Cup:Window Shopping with Marye

One thing I really like doing, and I  know some of you do too, is checking out some of the cottage industries on Etsy and other places.  Well I thought I would start doing links to the coolest stuff I saw as I monitor-shopped. I mean, this is the equivalent of window shopping, right?  Now, […]

Blogsurfing Saturday:Potpourri

So, what was your favorite tea or coffee time this week?  Mine was taking Nick to the store to get his own box of tea. He is so funny.

He told me he desperately needed his own tea because everyone keeps drinking the one’s he likes.  He is a Vanilla Chai man but will tolerate a […]

Numi Dry Desert Lime Tea

Numi Dry Desert Lime was an interesting tea. This is not a wimpy kids limeade from Sonic. Nope. Very lime. Very Dry. I have no clue how they did it.
Personally I like my drinks to be a little sweeter. Even with added sugar this one makes you pucker.
Numi Dry Desert Lime […]
